       (MLII) Michael is a producer, songwriter, and performer blessed with many creative talents. He has numerous original compositions registered with the Library of Congress, Copyright Office. He enjoys producing music, writing poetry, photography, and drawing portraits of friends. He is a musician, writer, and a vocalist.

       Michael began his music career at the age of twelve singing with the Macedonia Baptist Church of Akron, Ohio. He began playing keyboards after receiving a one as a high school graduation gift. Michael soon discovered that he could play back any song he heard. He played Prince’s “Purple Rain” after hearing it once in a movie theater. Michael studied music a Kent State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. During his undergraduate years at Kent State, he performed in his first talent show sponsored by a campus fraternity. Michael won first place performing a song he wrote and produced himself. Since then, he has produced music for many local-performing artists and performed in various talent shows including the Annual Akron Easter Talent Showcase. While completing his Master of Arts degree at The University of Akron, Michael has had some of his songs and some of the music he has produced for others aired on the university’s radio station WZIP/88.1 FM.
